Kerry C. Duggan is a recognized expert and frequent global public speaker on energy, climate, and sustainability strategies. With over two decades of experience advising leaders across government, business, and philanthropy, Kerry served as an energy, environment, climate, and infrastructure policy advisor to President Joe Biden and as Deputy Director of President Obamas Detroit task force. She also held senior positions at the Department of Energy, advancing policies for Americas energy transition.

A former Partner at Hon. Secretary Tom Ridges firm, Kerry currently serves on three corporate boards, public sector councils at the federal and state level, as well as several climate tech advisory boards. She is a faculty member at the University of Michigan, an investor, film executive producer and U.S. State Department speaker, further underscoring her leadership across sectors. 

Kerry earned a BS in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and an MS in Natural Resource Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan. Kerry lives in Detroit and remains committed to harnessing the Midwests relative climate advantage while celebrating and protecting its abundant natural resources.

Major Todd M. Sanders, USMC (Ret.) Managing Director of Operations & Consulting

Todd Sanders is a seasoned leader in national security, organizational development, and strategic operations, with nearly 20 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. A former Partner at the McChrystal Group, Todd advised Fortune 500 companies and government agencies on leadership development, performance optimization, and risk mitigation.

Todds military career included high-stakes operational planning, international coalition building, and executive-level coaching, earning him a reputation as a trusted problem-solver in dynamic environments. At ESP, he applies his interdisciplinary expertise to create durable, innovative solutions with precision that enhance resilience and address global climate challenges.

Todd holds a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, and an MS in Organizational Development & Leadership from Saint Josephs University. He also holds a Leadership Coaching Certificate from Georgetown University, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by ICF, and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Residing in the Traverse City area, Todd remains active on local boards, initiatives, and veterans groups.
