About the Author

Anne Jorunn Syvertsen (born 1966) is a former radio journalist who worked for Christian local radio stations in Norway and Trans World Radio. She also spent many years as a tour guide and travel event planner, sharing stories and experiences with others. Now living in Lillesand, Norway, with her husband, Arvid, she continues to inspire others through her writing, despite the challenges of chronic pain. Through her books, Syvertsen shares her passion for faith, hope, and understanding.

Anne was inspired to write this book because she lives with chronic physical pain and disabilityyet her pain is invisible to others. Despite this, she knows it is possible to live a good and fulfilling life, even in the midst of suffering. She also knows that being a Christian does not mean she have to be physically healed to find peace and purpose. She lives with this reality every single day, and through her experiences, she wants others to know that they, too, can find hope, strength, and joy despite their struggles.
